From her Brule County ranch office, Pam Geppert is the voice behind the Dakota Farm Talk mic.  Geppert has vast experience uncovering what ag producers are interested in and specializes in reporting on ag checkoff issues.  She has a keen understanding of production agriculture as she works with her husband raising cattle, crops & kids on their farm outside of Kimball, SD.

          Geppert is a graduate of South Dakota State University and was the first female Farm Services Director at WOWO Radio in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She’s been honored with the National Association of Farm Broadcaster’s “Oscar in Agriculture” award for excellence in farm reporting.  She’s grateful for the recognition from several SD ag organizations.  Geppert is a member of the SD State Fair Commission, First Dakota Ag Advisory Board, Mitchell Technical Institute’s Farm Business Management Advisory panel and 4-H leader.  She participated in Class One of the SD Ag & Rural Leadership program (SDARL).
